Focus on Design 2011 is building upon the success and momentum of the 2010 event to continue to bring to the Northwest design community the best of educational seminars, industry product showcases as well as wonderful networking opportunities. Focus on Design 2011 will be hosted jointly by National Kitchen & Bath Association, Puget Sound and the Northwest Society of Interior Designers, Puget Sound Chapter. The conference will once again be held at the Seattle Design Center in the heart of Seattle’s Design District.
Krista Kelly is the founder and owner of Seattle based Bilinear Art Consulting, providing art consulting services to a diverse client base of individuals and corporations. She has built a strong reputation on bringing excitement to the discovery and enjoyment of art frontiers as well as to the traditional images of beauty and place. Ms. Kelly does this by involving her clients in the social network of acquisition, which includes artist retrospectives and other exclusive invitational events. She then sees the process through with superior framing and presentation, effectively employing her education and training at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to ensure that client selections maintain their initial investment value and have every chance for appreciation in today’s marketplace, while bringing pleasure to clients, friends and family. Ms. Kelly was the co-curator for the visual arts 2010 PONHCO and the Sea Tac Airport curator of the Innovative Design: Seattle Architects 2008-2009. She has taught at Pratt Art Institute, has been featured in numerous local magazines, television programs, and newspapers.
