Hip-hop Performance Collaboration at Art@SDC Third Thursday Open Galleries
Come join us on Thursday, November 21st, 8pm for
ART@SDC’s Third Thursday Open Galleries event. Bilinear Art Consulting is featuring a
hip hop and lyrical group hailing from all areas of Seattle.
The group’s choreographer, Phi Voba, is a hip hop dancer and choreographer from the University of Washington. He currently dances at Westlake Dance Center and with two local crews. Co-founder and director of the Studio 3 Company, he hopes to spread the word that Seattle’s dance scene is a force to be reckoned with.

Holiday Small Works Sale Opening + New Art by Savina Mason
Evergreen Association of Fine Arts, Kate Alkarni Gallery, Bilinear Art Consulting, CoCA (Center on Contemporary Art), and more cordially invite you to Holiday Small Works Sale Opening. Many gift-sized original pieces starting at $45. Begins 11/21, 5-9pm. Runs 11/21-12/20, 9am-5pm.
Bilinear Art Consulting: New pieces by Savina Mason and gift-sized artwork will be revealed 6-9pm. RSVP for Premium Drinks 24-hours in advance through email or Facebook. Wine and bites will be served.
CoCA (Center on Contemporary Art): "CeCi N'est Pas Une Pipe: Flameworking on the Brink of Legalization" will debut a new interactive game by Ray Freeman III, president of CoCA. For Seattle Times new review of "Pipe" Show (Click Here).
Kate Alkarni Gallery: Opens two new exhibits on
Thursday, November 21st from 6-9pm. On view in the back gallery
will be "Small Paintings" by Matt Phillips and in the front gallery will
be "Transportation and Transfixion" a group show. Complementary 3 Howls Distillery drinks and small plates.
The Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters: Presents "Women Painters'
Works" group show. Enjoy fine art paintings of the figure, landscape and
still life.
Live oil painting demonstrations. Free beverages and refreshments.
Evergreen Association of Fine Arts: Will host their 38th Annual Open Exhibit
through Jan. 3, 2014, along with Holiday Small Works Show. Guests can shop for gifts from $85 and up.

Elementa Art Opening
Elementa is comprised of textured works from various artists using disparate objects placed together to create a unique singular artwork. Exhibit includes encaustics, paintings, photography, sculpture, and works from small to large-scale mixed media.
This event coincides with ART at SDC Third Thursday Open Galleries. Our next door neighbor, CoCA (Center on Contemporary Art), will be celebrating the opening of Ceci N'est Pas Une Pipe: Flameworking on the Brink of Legalization. Kate Alkarni Gallery will be paying tribute to Oktoberfest, too.

Elementa | Sylvain Copon
Preview of Sylvain Copon's work before his solo show next year. Four works are now on exhibit. Some of Copon's collectors include Jeff Bridges, Elizabeth Taylor, Ronald Reagan, Morgan Freeman and Paul Simon.
Sylvain will only paint (and eat) with his knife. He was inspired by aerial views of poppy fields for this series.
