In 1973, the Benaroya’s
founded Seattle Design Center as a creative epicenter to serve the needs of
interior designers and architects. The design center now has 40,000 square feet
dedicated to
art gallery space. Krista has led the
members of ART@SDC in developing a cohesive identity and a presence as art galleries beyond
the Design Center by including the
greater Seattle community in monthly events, shows,
lectures and classes. In addition, ART@SDC
participates in art based events hosted by the Design Center.
