Krista Kelly Appointed Director of ART@SDC

Krista Kelly has recently been appointed Director of ART@SDC. Krista has played an integral role in the formation of the committee, which consists of twelve art galleries at the Seattle Design Center
In 1973, the Benaroya’s founded Seattle Design Center as a creative epicenter to serve the needs of interior designers and architects. The design center now has 40,000 square feet dedicated to art gallery space. Krista has led the members of ART@SDC in developing a cohesive identity and a presence as art galleries beyond the Design Center by including the greater Seattle community in monthly events, shows, lectures and classes. In addition, ART@SDC participates in art based events hosted by the Design Center.
Krista Kelly was born in Redmond, Washington. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2003 from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and has since worked as an art consultant, an applied arts designer, and has taught at the Pratt Fine Arts Center. Krista founded Bilinear Art Consulting in 2006, which offers client-orientated art consultation for private and public spaces. Bilinear is one of the twelve galleries that makes up ART@SDC.
